About Us
Who Are We?
The Church of the Advent is a member of the Episcopal Diocese of Western New York,
which in turn is a member of the Episcopal Church USA,
a province of the world-wide Anglican Communion.
Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds, both in terms of church experience as well as societal situation.
We each bring the gift of ourselves as we join in community to worship.

Fellowship
Fellowship is an integral part of the Christian life. At Advent there are many opportunities to gather with other believers. Just some of them are:
Coffee Hour every Sunday following the 10:00 AM service.
Women's Guild (ECW) meets the second Tuesday of each month.
Youth Group meets twice monthly on Sundays after the 10:00 AM service, and is for young people in grades 6-12, with adult leadership.
Sage-Journers is for senior adults. They enjoy fellowship and special outings throughout the year.
Car-pooling is encouraged although occasional transportation is provided.
Men's Club is responsible for Advent's Annual Pancake Supper on Shrove Tuesday evening.
